The 3rd International Human Harmony Conference & Award 2026, organized by Human Harmony Nepal, recognized Samuel Bagh of India in the category of Social Work for his remarkable contributions to community welfare, environmental sustainability, and humanitarian service.
Mr. Bagh is a dedicated environmental and social activist from Siliguri, serving as Chairman of the All Christian Minority Organisation. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he led the plantation of more than 10,000 fruit and flower trees in the hill region, promoting sustainability and resilience. At the same time, he extended vital support to tea garden labor children, providing food, medicine, sports goods, and educational materials to ensure their well-being.
His humanitarian efforts include assisting families in need, offering marriage support, and providing relief during landslides in Darjeeling, where he distributed clothes and food to affected communities. Supported by his wife, Mousumi Bagh, a social and cultural activist, he continues to champion noble programs that uplift communities and foster harmony.
Mr. Bagh’s leadership reflects the vision of SDG Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, by promoting inclusivity, resilience, and sustainable development. His work stands as a testament to the power of grassroots activism in driving meaningful social change.
By honoring Samuel Bagh, the 3rd International Human Harmony Conference & Award 2026 celebrated the transformative role of social activists in advancing human dignity, justice, and sustainable community welfare aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
