Kathmandu, Nepal – December 28th, 2025
On December 28th, 2025, the SDG Champion Prize Ceremony was held in Kathmandu, Nepal, organized by Human Harmony Nepal (led by Founder & President Namita Ghimire), Project 100 (led by Suraj Gaikwad), and the World Conference Council, with the support of the Government of Nepal. The prestigious event brought together global leaders, policymakers, innovators, and advocates to celebrate outstanding contributions toward achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The program highlighted the 17 interconnected global goals adopted by UN member states in 2015, which call for ending poverty, protecting the planet, and ensuring peace and prosperity for all by 2030. The ceremony emphasized key areas such as no poverty, zero hunger, good health, quality education, gender equality, climate action, and strong institutions, underscoring the importance of global partnerships to achieve these targets.
Opening & Key Addresses
- Opening Speech: Delivered by Namita Ghimire, Founder & President of Human Harmony Nepal, who welcomed dignitaries and set the vision for the day.
- Setting the Tone: Angel Ghimire (Project 100 Nepal) inspired participants with remarks on youth leadership and innovation.
- Guest Facilitation: By Suraj Gaikwad (Project 100 Global).
- Guest Speech: By H.E. Dr. Rambhakta Thakur, Former Ambassador, Former Election Commissioner, and Chief of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nepal, who emphasized the importance of diplomacy, governance, and sustainable development.
